Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Clearbound Consulting LLC (“we,” “us”) handles information collected through clearboundconsulting.com. We collect as little as we need to respond to you and run the site, and we do not sell your information.

What we collect

Information you give us

• Contact form. Your name, email address, company (if you provide it), the situation you select, and your message. These are sent to our inbox so we can reply. We do not store them in a database.
• Resource downloads and sign-up lists. Your email address and which resource or list you asked for. We store these so we can send what you requested and keep track of who asked for it.
• Call bookings. If you book a call, Cal.com collects the details you enter on the booking form and shares them with us so we can hold the meeting.

Information collected automatically

• Analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand which pages are useful. It records the page visited, the referring site, approximate location (country, region, city), and device and browser type. It does not use cookies and does not identify you or follow you across other websites.
• Bot protection. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people apart from automated spam. Turnstile looks at signals from your browser and your IP address when you use a form.
• Server logs. Like any website, our host processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The site remembers your light or dark theme choice in your own browser.

How we use it

• To reply to your inquiry and, if we work together, to run the engagement.
• To send the resource you requested, or the update you signed up for.
• To keep our forms free of spam and abuse.
• To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.

We only email you about what you asked for. Any email we send to a sign-up list includes a link to unsubscribe, and we honor those requests promptly.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that help us run this site, and only so they can provide that service to us:

• Vercel hosts this website and provides privacy-friendly visitor analytics.
• Resend delivers the emails sent from our forms.
• Neon stores the email addresses submitted through our resource and sign-up forms.
• Cloudflare runs Turnstile, the check that keeps bots out of our forms.
• Cal.com handles call bookings made through our booking page.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep contact-form messages for as long as they are useful for the conversation or working relationship. We keep sign-up and download records until you unsubscribe, you ask us to delete them, or we no longer need them. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify you.

We may delete information sooner, at our discretion. For example, we may delete it when we stop offering a resource or sign-up list, when we stop using a service provider, or when a submission looks like spam or abuse.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what information we have about you, correct it, or delete it. Email ygilany@clearboundconsulting.com and we will respond within 30 days. You can unsubscribe from any list email at any time using the link in the email.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on your consent for sign-up lists and on our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries, keeping the site secure, and measuring site use. You also have the right to object to processing, to request a copy of your data, and to complain to your local data protection authority.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and to ask us to delete it. We do not sell or share personal information.

Do Not Track

We do not track visitors across other websites, so we treat all visitors the same whether or not their browser sends a Do Not Track signal.

Where your information is processed

We are based in the United States, and our service providers process information in the United States. If you contact us from another country, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

Children

This site is meant for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
